« The art in the church of the court: all the Saints

A bright red carpet leads to paradise, the Romanesque arcades of the nave are bathed in mist, ethereal sounds fill the space. The painter Christian Havet presents a singular exhibition at the All Saints Court church, on Marstallplatz, in the Residence, until 13 August.
The favorite themes of this Parisian artist, who has been living in Munich for a year, are forms, energy and cubes with an organic structure. « Geometric shapes radiate energy, » says Havet. His interpretations are dominated by red. « Red is an energetic color, the color of passion and love, » explains this 41-year-old architect, who has been working as a freelance artist for ten years.
He brilliantly combines images to create an immersive visual experience. The church, illuminated with a red light, and the gongs with their deep and vibrant sound offer a striking atmosphere. Giant drops of blood are reminiscent of those engraved on the stone floor, bearing the inscriptions ‘Harmony’ or ‘Wound’. « The atmosphere is impressive, almost apocalyptic, » said Antoine Grassin, patron and consul general of France in Munich. He particularly appreciated the combination of visual and acoustic elements.

The scarlet arrow spouts into the sky like a silent scream: Remember where you come from! we are self-aware stardust.
Our essence comes from above, from the stars it points to our cosmic origin. Towards the supernovae that forged every calcium atom in our bones, every iron molecule in our blood. 13.8 billion years ago, the Big Bang. Then the first giant stars which, dying in titanic explosions, sowed the universe with all the heavy elements. The carbon of our DNA, the oxygen of our breath, the phosphorus of our thoughts, all this was created in the nuclear core of the stars. We are literally made of their cooled light, their crystallized energy. Every human who walks on this red carpet carries within him fragments of ancient constellations. The red arrow says: Do not lower your eyes. Look at where you are coming down from. We believe ourselves to be earthly, limited to this planet, to this mortal body. But this installation screams the truth that astrophysics whispers: we are children of stars.
In Munich, like a physical ritual, let us walk on the blood-red of the novae, let us follow the path to the arrow that awakens memory: You come from above.
In Berlin, at the VEAG, this « up there » is materialized: the glasses capture stellar light (because even the sun is a star), filter it, transform it, send it back. I work with the very material from which I come. The profane and spiritual temple takes on its full meaning. Profane: because it is science, nuclear physics, the verifiable cosmic cycle.  Spiritual: because this knowledge, when it truly penetrates us, transforms our relationship to existence. Knowing that one is made of stars is not information – it is a revelation, a reconnection, an awakening.
The two places, the two works, the same message
Heiligengeistkirche, Munich 2000:
Place: church (traditional vertical connection to the divine)
Work: carpet + red arrow (physical ascent, gesture of indication)
Message: We are all called to the spiritual
Direction: FROM EARTH TO HEAVEN
VEAG, Berlin 2001:
Location: former power plant (temple of terrestrial energy become temple of art)
Work: painted/engraved glasses + video (capture and diffusion of light)
Message: We are all made of starlight
Direction: FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH

Let us emerge from our amnesia, we are voluntary exiles from the cosmos, temporarily incarnated in the flesh, but eternally linked to the stars. light is not an external phenomenon but our original substance. materiality is light, everything is energy, everything comes from the stars We are not under the stars. We are not illuminated by the stars. We ARE the stars – returned to consciousness of themselves after a journey of billions of years.  The red carpet is a kind of return path and the glasses are the mirror where we finally recognize our stellar face.

Geometric shapes: the alphabet of light
The drawings and paintings of geometric shapes are not simple aesthetic compositions; they are luminous glyphs, a universal language anterior to words.
Geometry is for me like cosmic grammar. When light meets matter, it obeys immutable geometric laws:
-It is reflected at precise angles
-It refracts by following mathematical relationships
-She creates interferences that draw regular patterns
-It generates fractals on all scales
Our geometric shapes do not represent light – they speak its language. They are the syntax of energy, the way the universe organizes itself from the quantum level to the spiral galaxies.
