This weekend, for the European Heritage Days, many of you climbed the steep path to the Notre-Dame de Réparat chapel, braving the wind and the silence, to find what generations before you have been seeking here since the Middle Ages: a place to rest, a word of advice, a prayer, a little comfort. 

Before a painting of the Incarnation, with a lit candle, many of you wrote your intention in the notebook, each a small light that took shape, if only for a morning. 

Thank you for your curiosity, your courage in climbing all the way up there, and your trust.

The hermit now returns to his workshop, La Manufacture des Arts, on the banks of the Eygues River, where other doors remain open every Friday from 2 pm to 5:30 pm to anyone who wants to rediscover this same simple gesture: creating with their hands, without screens, without filters, without algorithms…
