The response was very positive
Public event by artist Christian Havet…
Tiefenbach. Artist Christian Havet described this year’s « Open Studio Day » as a complete success. Almost 100 visitors participated in his public event. The focus was on his new sculpture « The Healer, » in whose creation each visitor could actively and personally participate. This unique concept showed the participants the creation of a work of art, the main component of which is the commitment and cooperation of everyone. Each visitor was creatively supported by the artist in such a way that the finished work embodies the harmony and value of the wish for « health. »
« It was very impressive to see the joy, enthusiasm, and creativity with which the visitors participated, » said Christian Havet. « Every single part of this sculpture is a loving little masterpiece. »
The partners of the art event were also on site at the beginning of the day. Professor Dr. Theodor Eikelmann, chairman of the Landshut Network, deputy chairman Werner Loher, managing director Jürgen Handschuh, and district heritage officer Dr. Maximilian Seefelder took the opportunity to lay the foundation stones for the sculpture. « The Healer » will be on display from June 1st at an exhibition in the Rochus Chapel in cooperation with the City of Landshut and under the patronage of Landshut’s Mayor, Hans Rampf. The sculpture will be auctioned at the opening. The proceeds will benefit the Landshut Network, an institute for psychosocial rehabilitation, open senior citizen work, and social workers.
