Mapping a Metamorphosis

Nyons-based artist Christian Havet is exhibiting his works at the Chant Libre bookstore until March 8.

In this exhibition, he looks back on his discovery of printmaking in the 1990s. It was a time of social change, a period of awakening awareness. He immersed himself in printmaking; it was a transmission of his moods, an attempt to resist time. He explored the medium while leaving his mark on it. By exhibiting this work, and looking at his prints again 30 years later, Christian sees in them « the mapping of a world in full metamorphosis, echoing the troubles of our present time. »
