This performance and painting on glass, carried out in situ on the window of a funeral institute in Landshut, is part of a space of passage between the visible and the invisible, between presence and disappearance. Glass, both surface and threshold, becomes a projection medium for a vision of the human body traversed by light.
The body is represented not as a compact form, but as a set of innumerable luminous particles in motion. The arrows, traced and repeated, symbolize these incessant flows: circulation of energy, breath, thought. They evoke an inner dynamic, a vital movement that goes beyond matter.
The soul, whose garment I wear (Seele) is here envisaged as a force of care. She does not oppose the body (Körper), but traverses it, animates it and repairs it. Invisible, it acts however in depth, linking each particle of light in the same rhythm. Painting thus becomes a sensitive mapping of the human being, where the spiritual and the physical are one.
Presented in front of a place dedicated to mourning and remembrance, the work offers a peaceful look at finitude. She suggests that what cares, what connects and what sets things in motion does not disappear, but transforms.
The light, always in circulation, remains.
