Landshut Today:
« It’s going to be a large sculpture: made from 144 drawers, once again by architect and artist Christian Havet. « It’s a matter of the heart, » says Havet. Each individual compartment is designed by one person as a gift for another. Yesterday, he was working at the daycare center in the Landshut Network to fill some of the drawers. He was assisted by art therapist Ute. On May 31st, the sculpture will be auctioned at an opening in the Rochus Chapel to benefit the Landshut Network. »
Collective art work: A 144 drawers sculpture is filled with interpretations of gifts and positive intentions; each one being offered by a person to the attention of another. By contributing to the finale sculpture, each participant increases the global energy of the collective sculpture and gets a random and unique space in the bigger picture.
